Rolls Royce Cullinan was first launched globally in 2018. Now, after 6 years on the market, this super luxury SUV has received a mid-life upgraded version.
According to the British super luxury car company, the changes in this upgraded version are intended to meet the needs of the largest group of customers who buy Cullinan: people aged 43, spend a lot of time moving around the city and like to drive yourself.
In terms of design, the new Cullinan can be easily distinguished thanks to the new, slimmer LED projector headlight cluster, combined with 2 new inverted L-shaped LED strips that look like a drooping mustache to create a frame for the front of the car. looks more straightforward. Rolls Royce said this design was inspired by skyscrapers in the city.
The lower bumper also gets a new design, but the more important change is said to be the first appearance of a backlit grille.
Moving inside, the interior also receives some notable upgrades including a full-width digital dashboard, inspired by the Specter EV, a Spirit of Ecstasy figurine located below the clock and access to the Whispers app – an app exclusively for Rolls Royce car owners.
New material options include Gray Stained Ash wood, bamboo rayon used in the Duality Twill interior configuration and perforated seats that resemble the clouds floating above Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood headquarters.
The Cullinan Black Badge version also receives some of the same upgrades as the Cullinan Series II with a prominent grille cluster, Spirit of Ecstasy emblem and for the first time the window trim is finished in black instead of chrome. The rear bumper along with the exhaust system also has a mirror-effect black chrome color and the wheels have a diameter of 23 inches.
Inside the cabin, the new Cullinan Black Badge features the same digital instrument panel as the Cullinan Series II but with a black Spirit of Ecstasy emblem and an interior decorated with carbon inserts.
In addition, the new Cullinan Black Badge version also receives throttle and transmission adjustments to bring a more exciting driving experience.
Powering the Cullinan Series II and the sporty Black Badge version is still a twin-turbo V12 engine with a maximum capacity of 563 horsepower in the standard version and 592 horsepower/900 Nm in the Black Badge version.
