Toyota Land Cruiser Prado’s price has been inflated dramatically due to lack of cars

The user community in California, USA is feeling indignant when faced with the “inflated” price for the Toyota Prado First Edition 2024. Some dealers have asked for an amount of up to nearly 100,000 USD, equivalent to more than 2.4 billion VND and this is an extremely terrible number compared to the official selling price of about 75,000 USD, equivalent to more than 1.8 billion VND.

Maita Toyota of Sacramento, California and Magnussen’s Toyota of Palo Alto are two of the dealers mentioned with sky-high prices for the Land Cruiser Prado First Edition. Representatives of these dealers have adjusted the selling price by up to nearly 15,000 USD, equivalent to 360 million VND compared to the official price, and publicly affirmed that the car will not be sold below the announced price.

Future Toyota of Yuba City, California, and Thompsons Toyota of Placerville, California, also both charged prices that exceeded the official price of the Land Cruiser Prado, leaving consumers facing a price tag of nearly $100,000 more. 2.4 billion VND for an SUV.

The price increase, which is not in accordance with the official price of the car, is causing outrage and protests from consumers. Although dealers can justify price increases based on the principle of supply and demand, this still causes a lot of controversy about transparency and fairness in transactions.

Excessive price increases can cause many consumers to refuse to buy a car or have to accept higher costs than they intended. This situation raises questions about fairness in the auto market and needs to be clarified and addressed.
